Partners Urgent Care Burlington Has Opened!
Partners Urgent Care Burlington is the company’s seventh center and joins other Partners Urgent Care facilities in Canton, Cambridge – Central Square, Newton, Watertown and Brookline in providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare across the greater Boston-area. Two additional locations will open winter of 2017 in Woburn and Medford, with future centers opening in spring of 2018 in Cambridge – Porter Square and Natick.
Partners Urgent Care is a collaboration between Partners HealthCare, an integrated health care system founded by Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and MedSpring Urgent Care. Patients can be assured of the highest quality of care given Partners Urgent Care’s affiliation and oversight by some of the nation’s finest medical institutions.
Services & Amenities
Partners Urgent Care treats a wide range of illnesses and injuries from cuts and broken bones to coughs and colds for adults and children over twelve months. All centers are open 9am to 9pm every day, including weekends and offer unique amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi and snacks and beverages, children’s activities and in-room cable TV. New locations are equipped with on-site lab capabilities and digital x-ray.
Walk-ins are welcome and same-day appointments are available at most centers. Patients covered by most commercial and public insurance plans can be seen at any Partners Urgent Care location. All Partners Urgent Care locations are open to everyone and it is not necessary to be an existing patient of Partners HealthCare.
For non-life threatening conditions, urgent care centers offer a cost-effective and time-saving alternative to the emergency department. Most visits last less than an hour and co-pays are consistent with that of a routine office visit. For conditions threatening a patient’s life, limb or vision, an emergency department is the most appropriate setting for care.
